Designer Laetitia Laurent set her sights on Maison & Objet in Paris to find the perfect furnishings for a Chicago couple who decided to raise their family in Boca Raton. Sumptuous silks and velvets lend a timeless elegance to the formal living room, while a durable slipcovered sofa in the family room stands up to the active flock. Pops of cotton candy and emerald green punctuate a subdued palette, with glimmers of precious metals throughout. And thoughtful architectural detailing abounds, from the chocolate-and-cream marble in the entry to the marble-clad fireplace in the living room and the rich herringbone flooring in the bar area.
