A November Reflection

Gratitude, Growth & Creative Momentum

As we move into December, I always find myself pausing to take stock – not just of the past month, but of the broader season. Fall is traditionally one of the design world’s most energizing chapters, and this year has been no exception. I’m heading into the holidays deeply thankful for the conversations, connections, and creative opportunities that shaped this quarter.

This season brought a wave of speaking engagements that allowed me to share insights, learn from incredibly talented peers, and contribute to thoughtful discourse across our industry. From intimate panel discussions to larger stages, each one reminded me how lucky I am to be part of such a passionate, forward-thinking design community.

A highlight, of course, was traveling to Madrid for the DLN Summit – a city that never fails to take my breath away. The panels were thought-provoking, challenging in all the right ways, and rich in perspective. Just as meaningful were the moments between sessions: reconnecting with friends, meeting new peers, wandering through endlessly beautiful streets and soaking up the design language of Madrid. That city has a way of staying with you.

Back home, our entire team was buzzing with activity through the South Florida Fall Markets, and we welcomed several new projects while bringing others to the finish line. Install days will forever be some of my favorites – seeing months of vision, collaboration, and problem-solving come together in a space is still pure magic.

We also had a lot of fun behind the scenes this quarter. Creating more content allowed me to share a bit more of my human side – something I’ve genuinely enjoyed leaning into. And on the press front, we’re especially proud of the stories and features that showcased the heart of our work.

As I write this, I’m spending Thanksgiving holiday in Paris, a personal tradition that refuels me each year. I’ll be visiting showrooms, connecting with clients on this side of the pond, and absorbing the endless inspiration that only Paris can deliver. Soon it will be time for family, rest, and one final stretch of creativity before we ring in a new year.

I’m heading into the holidays full of gratitude – for my team, our clients, our partners, and the ability to do what I love in places that continually inspire me. And I’m already looking ahead to 2026 with fresh energy and so much excitement for what’s to come.

À très bientôt,
