Parisian Chic

After spending a few years on the Ile Saint Louis in Paris, one couple with three kids knew they wanted to recreate an elegant home in Boca Raton that felt chic, inviting, and decidedly French. Designer Laetitia Laurent drew from her Parisian roots to deliver such a space. Gilded light fixtures and handsome leather barstools contrast gleaming white subway tiles in the kitchen, which is well-appointed with Viking appliances and a large apron sink. The adjacent breakfast nook exudes romance with its floral wallcovering, rustic dining table and cozy banquette, and a tufted red velvet sofa continues that feeling in the living room, where intricate custom molding creates interest. European details abound in the bathroom, which emulates a 1960 Parisian bistro with gold accents, a claw foot tub, and French-inspired faucets. Photos by Anthony J. Rayburn
