The homeowners, a couple relocating from New York to embrace warmer weather and a more relaxed lifestyle, chose this unit for its breathtaking dual views – one side overlooking the ocean, and the other showcasing the serene Boca Raton waterways. We undertook a full renovation to reimagine the space, enhancing its layout and maximizing openness.

Key structural changes included raising the ceilings and widening the hallways in the living room and kitchen, creating an expansive, open atmosphere throughout. We incorporated updated luxuries, including motorized window treatments and ambient LED lighting. The design centered on a chic, modern aesthetic that subtly reflects the coastal setting without being overly thematic. The homeowner has an anecdote that rings true here: there is no need for a ‘beach’ sign – the sweeping ocean view speaks for itself. Instead, we curated a sophisticated palette of layered beiges and creamy whites, incorporating natural textures and wood accents to add warmth. Every wall was finished with elegant wallpaper, adding texture and refinement, while columns were covered in wood paneling to transform them into intentional design features.

In the kitchen, we opted for a more elevated approach, choosing soft cashmere cabinetry over the traditional white, paired with translucent stone countertops that beautifully capture the ocean’s light. The powder room was infused with a touch of glam, while the bar, finished in moody black and brown tones, offers an intimate, sultry ambiance. The bedroom was designed as a serene retreat, perfect for relaxation, while the office took on a bit more of a masculine tone, showcasing  the husband’s exquisite collection of model cars, adding a personal yet stylish element to the space.

This complete renovation resulted in a home where the couple can now host dinner parties, entertain guests, and embrace Florida coastal living in a space that reflects their elevated lifestyle. Photography by Jack Cook.
