With the client being a lover of France, the design pays homage to Haussmannian architecture that defines Parisian style. The loft area emulates a Parisian apartment in its thoughtful design while maintaining an emphasis on comfort. Laure Nell Interiors pushed the boundary with color, curves and texture to create this space. With the deep blue sofa marrying the tones of the custom built in and emerald throws elevating the design. To modernize the area, Laure Nell introduced hints of mid century modern design with the rich walnut woods, cane doors on the barn door of the media center and sculptural chairs. The poodle fabric accent chair is a play on the De Pas, D’Urbino, and Lomazzi’s Baseball Glove Chair designed in the 1970’s. The mesh chandelier from Mooi was perfectly centered within the custom ceiling detail, which is further enhanced by the custom wall moulding.

Moving deeper into the home, Laure Nell interiors designed the master suite to have a dramatic entrance. Leading you to the respite oasis of the bedroom, the foyer has a striking tone on tone wallpaper and oversized beaded pendant lights. The design was to make this suite a multifunctional space. A seating arrangement in front of the bed gives an ease and comfort while watching tv. The far end of the room has a table and chairs to mimic an office space. The color palette played on the Hermes wallpaper, giving way to the neutral and soft aesthetic.
